Comment: Quimet & Quimet is a genuine spot that has been already run by four generations of Quimets. It offers delicious tapas, good wines and good humour (depending on the day). With only two tables and a bar, this tiny old wine cellar is always crammed with people who enjoy a really informal atmosphere.

Dishes: Canned preserves. Cheeses. Croquettes. Tuna and tomato. Yoghurt with anchovy. Dried tomatoes. Large wine cellar with wines, vermouth, cavas, liqueurs and malt whisky.

Aunque el local es diminuto y hay que estar necesariamente de pie, vale la pena acercarse a este bar-bodega con más de un siglo a sus espaldas. Una experiencia popular y auténtica, desgraciadamente en vías de extinción en la Barcelona del diseño. Su carta combina las tapillas y conservas de toda la vida con originales montaditos redondos sobre pan tostado. Muy gustosos los de paté con setas y el sardinillas con erizo. El de queso del Casar con castañas es un postre delicioso. La cerveza Quimet de elaboración propia es una grata sorpresa, muy oscura pero nada amarga. Un sitio ciertamente recomendable y único en Barcelona.
