Comment: Young Asturian chef Fran Heras and Eva Arbonés opened in late 2012 their second Llamber as a result of the success of their first gastronomic tavern in Avilés. Betting on seasonality, proximity and the utmost respect for the product, the restaurant’s menu offers miniature haute cuisine with amazing dishes that invite to try, discover and get carried away.

Dishes: Parmesan fondue with shrimps and asparagus. Marinated salmon with citrus, dill and ginger ice cream. Homemade foie gras terrine with textured corn. Fresh cod with guacamole. Cured pork tenderloin stuffed with Rey Silo cheese, peaches and almonds. Black rice with allioli.

Cócteles, ambiente y algunos platos

La verdad es que el nuevo encargado, moreno y de gafas , se ha 'encargado' de hacer perder mucho del buen ambiente del local. No es necesario entrar en detalles , pero el trato misógino y cercano a lo vejatorio a algún cliente ha sido una sorpresa en mi última de mis más de 10 visitas a Llamber. No tengo ninguna duda que la dirección corregirá este desatino a la brevedad. Por cierto, otro 10 para él coctelero ;)

Un sitio donde re-descubrir la gastronomía. Sencillez y sorpresa, súper recomendable el pan de queso con anchoa y tomate, el pulpo gratinado con patata y el solomillo relleno de queso Rey Silo. Ninguna de sus tapas decepciona. Gran templo para descubrir vinos como El Linze. Una rareza que sólo puede disfrutarse en Llamber.
